October signals the midway point in the apple season. The picking crews bring fresh apples to the market each day for sorting and display. The McIntosh & Macouns have been picked and soon the Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Northern Spys, and Baldwins will be ripe.

McIntosh
McIntosh hit their peak flavor in October! This is the best time of the year to make classic Maine McIntosh apple sauce. For the very best value, buy a half bushel or more for eating and cooking.

Macoun
This variety is one of our most popular choices. The Macoun is crisp & juicy - just right for snacking anytime of day.

Apples are Everything.

With over 36 different varieties, we are able to supply you with fresh, hand-picked apples from late July to late November. We have every type of apple you can imagine, from red to green to yellow, and every flavor of apple, from the sweet Honeycrisp, to the tart McIntosh, and scrumptious Golden Delicious to the bitter Duchess, when uncooked. We have both cooking and eating apples, and are sure that our helpful and knowledgeable staff will help you find an apple that perfectly suits your taste. In addition to Apples, we also offer a small crop of blueberries and other vegtables early in the season. Throughout the season we have cut flowers, Maple Syrup, Honey, Crisp Mix, Apple Cider Vinigar, Apple Butter, and other dried goods.
