Our business won the 2010 Maine Family Buisiness
Maddy Corson Award. This award recognized Sweetser's
Apple Barrel and Orchards for it contribution to the
community since the family homestead was built in
1812. Today, three generations of the Sweetser family
arecurrently involved in the orchard business. Connie
and Dick (4th generation) oversee the day to day operations.
Debby and Greg (5th generation) now own the orchard
and are committed to maintaining the family hertiage.
Eben (6th generation) was on hand to accept the award
on behalf of the family.
The success of this Cumberland landmark is
in part, due to the strong local support of surrounding
communities. We look forward to your visit!
